Little Escape Homestay Varanasi ( LEH) is located at Malviya Nagar Susuwahi Nasirpur Road,  near Banaras Hindu University walking distance from Hyderabad Gate and 1.5 Kilometres from the famous Birla Temple situated in Banaras Hindu University. The homestay is 6 Kilometres from the famous Kashi Vishwanath Temple which means 30 mins rickshaw ride from the home and its around 4 Kilometers from Assi Ghat which means 20 mins rickshaw ride from the home.  It’s a family run business where the host Shobha, Indu and Monu stays in the house to take care of all their guests who come to Varanasi, Banaras or Kashi for their pilgrimage, spiritual, musical, educational tours. 

 Just for your information, Shobha and Indu are great chefs and do really good cooking for their guests on a chargeable basis. They also offer cooking classes.  It means that you’ll also get home made food in the house.

  The homestay has only 3 rooms in total but is spacious and clean. We are not a big hotel so we can take care of all your needs in our home. 

 There is one big double room on the ground floor called Ganesha Room . This room has an attached bathroom with good access to wifi and hot and cold water supply. The room also has a TV, air conditioning and a space for your work as a workstation or space. This is probably one of our biggest rooms which can sleep around 4 people or even more at a chargeable rate of Rs 1000 per person extra.  As the homestay is located away from the hustle and bustle of Varanasi, you’ll be able to relax in our home without a lot of honking and crowds of the main city.

  The second room is on the second floor called the Surya Room  . This room has a balcony with a sunrise view of the city which opens at the street outside which is not noisy. The room has an attached bathroom with access to wifi, hot and cold showers available and air conditioning. This room sleeps 2 people.

  The third room is also on the second floor called the Kartikay Room. This  room has an attached bathroom with access to wifi, hot and cold showers available and air conditioning. This room sleeps 2 people.

Our homestay has a backup facility which means we still have some lights working when the power goes off in the city.

Please note that we don’t have an elevator, or swimming pool but you can park your car outside of our home as there is a big peaceful street outside of our home.

Location, Transport and Accessibility ;

  Since we are located away from the main busy city, we don’t have a lot of rickshaw and cars running around here and there BUT as you walk for around 10-15 mins from the homestay , there is the place called HYDERABAD GATE of Banaras Hindu University campus from where you can book the tuk tuk anytime between 5 AM to 10 PM. OLA and UBER or RAPIDO are the drivers or vehicle app and you can also book the transport by installing them on your mobile phone.

If you are arriving at Varanasi Junction Railway station, then take a rickshaw or tuk-tuk for Rs 350 and ask them to bring you at Nasirpur Road near Ideal New Star English School. We are 300 metres from Ideal New Star English School. Please note that there are two ways to find us, one from Hyderabad Gate Banaras Hindu University and second one from Chitaipur via Nasirpur Road .

If you are arriving at Banaras  Junction Railway station, then take a rickshaw or tuk-tuk for Rs 300 and ask them to bring you at Nasirpur Road near Ideal New Star English School. We are 300 metres from Ideal New Star English School. Please note that there are two ways to find us, one from Hyderabad Gate Banaras Hindu University and second one from Chitaipur via Nasirpur Road .

If you are arriving at Dindayal Upadhyay   Junction Railway station, then take a rickshaw or tuk-tuk for Rs 700 and ask them to bring you at Nasirpur Road near Ideal New Star English School. Please note that if you will come from DDU Railway station, then you’ll follow the road via Ramnagar Samne Ghat Brigde so you’ll have to come via Karaundi Naria Road following Ananta Cafe Restaurant> Keshari General Store> Radha Supermarket and then take right from Manraj General Store.  We are 300 metres from Ideal New Star English School. If you are arriving at Lal Bahadur Shashtri International Airport, then take a prepaid taxi from the Airport bookable at counter for Rs 700-800 and ask them to bring you at Nasirpur Road near Ideal New Star English School. You can also book OLA or UBER from anywhere in Varanasi. We are 300 metres from Ideal New Star English School.
